Another Water Problem

We found water again getting through the wall into the basement so we did a concrete patch job on the outside and inside. It must be the combination of late fall watering every day combined with some rain because the rest of the year there is no issue.



















We also added a rain drain so the water will run out to the front instead of by the window.



















Then we finished everything off with some sealer and paint inside on the wall and did a patch job on the front porch.

Kids watching prepared video while parents are in France

Here is the response of the boys watching the video parents prepared for them to watch while they were in France. These pictures were from the second viewing. They were even more glued to the tube during the first viewing. Dad made up 3 sets of suckers for the boys to get out of the mail box. Mom sang "Baby Beluga" to the boys since that is their favorite book.

Fourth of July 2008 in Los Alamos, NM

These pictures show how we spent our 4th of July week, with the boys while their mom and dad are in Paris, France from the 1st to the 9th. They are good kids and are doing fine. They seem to be plenty happy with us.

We launched rockets from their mom and dad.

A chipmunk came to the window to eat the dropped bird seeds from the bird feeder on the windowsill.
